We, at the Animal Care Centre of Strathmore, know that it is thanks to our community and the surrounding counties that we are able to provide our exceptional medical care to all of your 4 legged friends. So, we like to give back.

Our Nail Trim Donation program is the most popular. We provide nail trims for a nominal donation of $10 and 100% of the proceeds at the end of each month are donated to various animal charities in Alberta. In 2015 we raised over $6,900 and donated it monthly to organizations like Happy Cat Sanctuary, Alberta SPCA, Tails of Help, ARF, AARCS, ALPL and more. Check out our Facebook page each month to see where each donation is going.

Educating our clients is a large part of veterinary medicine and our team firmly believes in it. That is why we host many different groups for tours at the clinc as well as educational seminars throughout the year. Our Feedlot Night and Beef Producer Night are both large events for our cattle clients each year. We typically host 4-H groups and Girl Guide groups for talks and tours, we participate in industry webinars and educational sessions.

The Animal Care Centre of Strathmore is the veterinary team at the Strathmore Stampede and Rockyford Rodeos. And in 2016 we will be the veterinary team in attendance for the re-creation of the world record breaking 36 heavy horse hitch by Slim Moorehouse by Hitch Masters, Neil and Derek Dimmock. Check out their Facebook page for more information: The Big Hitch - Salute to Slim Moorehouse.

We are proud supporters of the community through donations and our staff volunteer efforts. You can often find our staff members volunteering at spay/neuter clinics, coaching sports teams, teaching 4-H and more.

We are all proud to be a part of Strathmore and the area!
